10 W Apple USB Power Adapter

This five-pack supplies five genuine Apple A1357 wall chargers, each rated at 10 W with a 5.1 V, 2.1 A USB-A output. They are intended for users who need multiple reliable chargers for compatible iPad, iPhone and iPod models at home, in the office or while travelling.

Single USB-A port per unit

Each adapter provides one standard USB-A port, so a separate Lightning or 30-pin cable is required for every device. The compact wall-plug design leaves adjacent sockets free and adds no desktop clutter, making it simple to keep a charger in several fixed locations.

10 W output with 5.1 V, 2.1 A delivery

The 10 W rating comfortably charges supported iPad models and replenishes iPhone or iPod batteries at their standard USB charging rate. It will not deliver the higher wattage needed for rapid charging on newer iPad Pro or iPhone models that accept USB Power Delivery.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.1 A output limit how fast an iPad charges during extended use?

The adapter delivers up to 2.1 A at 5.1 V, so the iPad draws its maximum supported rate and the adapter itself does not throttle below that level.

Does the adapter get hot or make noise when left plugged in all day?

The compact wall charger runs silently and stays cool under normal continuous load because it has no fan or moving parts.

Which cable is required to connect the USB port to an iPad or iPhone?

You need a standard USB-A to Lightning or USB-A to 30-pin cable, depending on the device, as the adapter provides only the USB-A port.
