Apple iPad 2 A1395 9.7" 16GB Tablet

This second-generation iPad 2 with model number A1395 ships new in black. It combines a 9.7-inch LED IPS LCD display with Apple's A5 dual-core system-on-chip and 512 MB DDR2 memory. Internal flash storage is 16 GB and connectivity covers WiFi plus Bluetooth 2.1. Both front and rear HD cameras support FaceTime calls and video recording.

Suits light media use, not modern apps

The tablet handles web browsing, email, video playback and casual gaming from its era. Buyers who need current iOS versions, modern app compatibility or larger storage for today's media libraries should look elsewhere. The 16 GB capacity and 512 MB RAM limit multitasking and prevent installation of many contemporary applications.

16 GB flash storage defines capacity

Fixed 16 GB internal memory cannot be expanded and must hold the operating system, apps and all user data. This single figure determines whether the device can meet a specific workflow or media library size. No external storage option exists, so the purchase decision rests entirely on this capacity.
