Apple iPad 2 16GB new tablet

The Apple iPad 2 MC769LL/A is a new 9.7 inch tablet with a 1024 x 768 LED-backlit touchscreen. It runs iOS 6 on a dual-core Apple A5 processor clocked at 1 GHz with 512MB of memory and 16GB of internal storage. Wireless connectivity includes 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Suits users wanting a classic iOS 6 device

This unit suits collectors or developers needing a genuine iPad 2 running iOS 6 for legacy app testing or archival purposes. The 16GB capacity and 512MB memory limit modern multitasking, media storage and current web browsing. Buyers who need a supported operating system, larger storage or cameras suitable for current video calls should look elsewhere.

Verify iOS 6 app compatibility and Wi-Fi needs

Before ordering, confirm that your required applications still function on iOS 6 and that 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi meets your network environment. The 16GB storage cannot be expanded, so assess whether it holds your intended content. Ensure a compatible 30-pin cable and charger are available for power and data transfer.
