128 GB Wi-Fi tablet for everyday use

The Apple iPad 5th Gen 128 GB in Space Gray delivers a 9.7 inch display and Wi-Fi connectivity for browsing, streaming and light productivity. Released in 2017, it suits students, casual users or anyone wanting a reliable iOS device with ample local storage. The unit ships with an aftermarket premium wall charger and USB cable. Original packaging is not included.

Ready to use out of the box

No assembly or driver installation is required; power on, sign in with an Apple ID and download apps from the App Store. The included aftermarket charger and cable provide immediate charging capability. Common issues involve forgotten Apple ID credentials or an outdated iOS version that blocks newer apps, both resolved through Apple account recovery or a software update. Physical installation is limited to placing the tablet in a case or stand if desired.

Verify iOS support and accessory needs

Confirm the tablet still receives the iOS version required by your critical apps, as 2017 hardware may not support the latest releases. Check that your existing Lightning accessories and any keyboard or stylus you plan to use are compatible with this generation. Ensure your Wi-Fi network operates on a band the iPad supports, and remember that cellular data is not available on this Wi-Fi only model.
