Fifth-generation iPad with 32 GB storage

This fifth-generation iPad provides 32 GB of built-in storage for apps, documents and media. The 9.7-inch display operates at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It runs iOS on Apple hardware and connects via Wi-Fi only. The Space Gray unit ships in a generic box with charging accessories.

Capacity and everyday headroom

The 32 GB capacity comfortably holds a moderate library of apps, photos and offline documents. Heavy media collections or large creative projects will fill the space quickly and require cloud offloading. Battery capacity exceeds 50 percent of the original specification, so daily runtime is reduced compared with a new unit. The C-grade cosmetic condition means visible wear is present.

Wi-Fi-only connectivity limits

As a Wi-Fi-only model, the tablet cannot access cellular data networks when away from a hotspot. Internet-dependent features such as streaming, cloud sync and web browsing stop working outside wireless range. The iOS version supported by this generation eventually stops receiving updates, limiting future app compatibility. No cellular fallback or external modem support exists.

Questions about this item

Will my existing Lightning cables and USB-A power adapters charge this iPad 5th Gen 32 GB model?

Yes, the 5th generation iPad uses a Lightning port, so your current Lightning cables and USB-A power adapters will charge the 32 GB unit without any extra purchase.

How can I verify the 9.7 inch display is running at its full 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution after setup?

Open Settings, tap Display & Brightness, then View; it should show Standard, confirming the panel is delivering the native 2048 by 1536 resolution.

Does the box include a Lightning cable and power adapter, or do I need to buy them separately?

The generic box ships with charging accessories — a Lightning cable and a USB power adapter — so nothing extra is required to start charging the tablet.
