Everyday Tablet for Students and Families

The Apple iPad 5th Gen 9.7" 128GB Wi-Fi Tablet in Space Gray is built for students, families, and everyday users who need a dependable device for web browsing, streaming, email, reading, and online learning. Its 128GB of internal storage holds apps, photos, videos, and documents without relying on cloud sync. The A9 chip runs iPadOS smoothly for light multitasking and productivity tasks. Buyers who need cellular data or professional creative workflows should look elsewhere.

Sustained Performance for Daily Tasks

The A9 chip delivers consistent responsiveness during extended browsing sessions, video streaming, and document editing without thermal slowdown. The 9.7" Retina display at 2048 × 1536 resolution stays sharp and legible during long reading or study periods. iPadOS manages background apps efficiently so the 128GB storage remains accessible for quick file saves and app launches throughout the day. Heavy gaming or video editing will exceed the thermal and memory limits of this configuration.

Aluminum Build with Essential Ports

The Space Gray aluminum enclosure resists daily wear while staying light enough for backpacks and hand-held use. A Lightning port handles charging and wired accessories, while the 3.5 mm headphone jack supports legacy audio gear without adapters. Bluetooth pairs with keyboards, mice, and headphones for a desktop-like setup. Wi-Fi only connectivity means no mobile broadband option, and the single DisplayPort entry in the spec sheet reflects video-out via adapter rather than a native port.
