What this tablet is and who it suits

The Apple iPad 5th Gen is a 9.7 inch WiFi tablet with 32GB of built-in storage, designed for everyday tasks such as web browsing, email, video streaming and light productivity. It ships new and includes a wall charger and data cable. The Space Gray finish shows moderate cosmetic wear consistent with a Grade B rating, but the unit is fully functional. Buyers who need cellular connectivity or larger local storage should look elsewhere.

The specification that decides fit

The single figure that determines suitability is the 32GB flash memory capacity, which cannot be expanded on this model. If your apps, photos, videos and offline content will exceed that space, this tablet will not meet the requirement. The 9.7 inch Retina display runs at 2048x1536 resolution with 264 ppi, and Touch ID is present for secure unlocking and purchases.

Behaviour under sustained load

The dual core 1.8 GHz Apple A9 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM handles typical multitasking and media playback without difficulty. During extended sessions such as long video calls or continuous streaming, performance remains stable because the thermal design is built for the tablet’s slim enclosure. The rear 8 megapixel iSight camera and front 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD camera are adequate for casual photography and video conferencing.
