Compact 7.9-inch Retina tablet for light everyday

The iPad Mini 2 A1489 delivers a 7.9-inch IPS display with 2048×1536 resolution at 326 pixels per inch, showing up to 3.1 million pixels. It runs iOS 12.5.5 on a 1.3 GHz Apple A7 processor with 1 GB memory and 16 GB storage. This silver Wi-Fi model suits readers, casual browsers and video viewers who prefer a one-hand form factor.

Steady performance within iOS 12 limits

The A7 chip handles web browsing, email and streamed video smoothly at its 1.3 GHz clock. With only 1 GB memory, multitasking stays light; the 16 GB capacity fills quickly with offline media or large apps. Maximum supported iOS is 12.5.5, so newer applications requiring later system versions will not install or run.

Passive cooling keeps silent operation

The 7.5 mm thin aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without a fan, so the tablet stays quiet during typical browsing or playback sessions. The included UL-approved power adapter supplies charge through the Lightning port. Professional 30-point inspection confirms full functionality, though the unit ships without original packaging, headphones, SIM card or manual.
