Compact iPad for Light Tasks

This 9.7 inch iPad 5th Gen model A1822 comes with 32GB of built-in storage and 2GB of memory running iOS. The Retina display offers a 2048 by 1536 resolution at 264 ppi for clear viewing. It connects via 802.11ac WiFi and weighs one pound at 7.5mm thin with an aluminum unibody. Front 1.2MP and rear 8MP cameras handle photos and 1080p video.

Suits Basic Media and Web Use

Buyers who need a simple tablet for email, browsing, streaming or note-taking will find the specifications adequate. The 32GB capacity fills quickly with apps and offline media, so users storing large libraries should look elsewhere. Cellular connectivity is not included, limiting use to WiFi range. Older iOS support may restrict some current app compatibility.

Storage Capacity Decides Fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the 32GB built-in storage which cannot be expanded. This capacity handles a modest selection of apps and documents but not extensive photo or video collections. Buyers planning to download large games or keep movies offline will exceed the space quickly. Choose this model only if the fixed 32GB matches the intended workload.
