What this iPad is

The Apple iPad A1823 is a 9.7 inch tablet with 32GB of built-in storage and 2GB of memory. It runs iOS and features a Retina display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution at 264 ppi. The Wi-Fi and cellular unlocked model includes both front and rear cameras for photos and video calls.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This tablet suits users who need a portable iOS device for web browsing, media consumption and light productivity on the go. Cellular connectivity allows internet access away from Wi-Fi networks. Buyers who want more storage for large media libraries or who need support for the latest iOS versions and modern apps should look at newer models.

Capacity and headroom

The 32GB drive holds the operating system, essential apps and a moderate photo or document collection. The 2GB of memory handles everyday multitasking such as email, browsing and video streaming. Demanding creative workflows, heavy multitasking or large offline media libraries will exceed the available storage and memory headroom.
