9.7-inch Wi-Fi tablet for everyday use

This 2018 iPad delivers a 9.7-inch display and 128GB of storage in a Wi-Fi only configuration. It suits students, casual browsers and anyone needing a reliable secondary screen for email, video streaming and light productivity. The silver finish matches the classic Apple aesthetic. Buyers who need cellular connectivity or a larger canvas should look elsewhere.

128GB storage with 80% battery baseline

The 128GB capacity holds a generous library of apps, photos and offline media for typical daily workflows. Battery health is guaranteed at 80% or above, providing dependable runtime for standard mixed use. Heavy gaming or continuous video recording will drain the cell faster than light reading. Users requiring all-day intensive workloads without a charger may find the endurance limiting.

Aftermarket charger and cable included

A premium aftermarket wall charger and cable ship in the box, so the tablet is ready to power up immediately. Original packaging is not supplied, which keeps the bundle compact but means no Apple-branded unboxing experience. The accessories cover essential charging needs without adding proprietary docks or adapters. Buyers wanting first-party accessories will need to purchase them separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 9.7" display and Wi-Fi-only connection still work with my older Apple accessories like a first-generation Apple Pencil?

The 6th generation iPad supports the first-generation Apple Pencil for drawing and note-taking on the 9.7-inch screen, and connects to existing Wi-Fi networks without needing cellular hardware.

How can I verify the 128GB storage and battery health are performing correctly after I set it up?

Open Settings, tap General, then About to confirm the 128GB capacity, and check Battery Health under Settings > Battery to see the maximum capacity percentage which is guaranteed at 80% or higher.

Does the box include the original Apple power adapter or do I need to buy a charger separately?

The unit ships with an aftermarket premium wall charger and cable included, so no separate purchase is required for charging; original Apple packaging is not included.
