iPad 6th Gen A1893 128GB Silver

The Apple iPad 6th Generation model A1893 is a 9.7 inch tablet with 128GB of built-in storage and 2GB of memory. It runs on a 2.3 GHz Apple A10 Fusion chip and features a Retina display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution at 264 ppi. The device includes an 8 megapixel rear iSight camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera capable of 1080p video at 30 fps. It supports Apple Pencil input for drawing and note-taking.

Suited for everyday tasks and Apple Pencil use

This tablet suits students and professionals who need a portable iOS device for web browsing, media consumption, and handwritten notes with Apple Pencil. The A10 Fusion chip handles augmented reality apps supported by the gyroscope and accelerometer. Buyers who require cellular connectivity should look elsewhere, as this A1893 model is Wi-Fi only. Users needing more than 128GB of internal storage or the latest iOS versions beyond iPadOS 15.4 compatibility should consider other options.

128GB fixed storage capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 128GB built-in storage, which cannot be expanded via memory cards or external drives. This capacity determines how many apps, photos, videos, and documents the device can hold locally. Buyers with large media libraries or heavy offline workloads must verify this limit meets their needs before purchase. The fixed nature of the storage makes this the critical deciding factor for this specific model.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the Apple Pencil with this A1893 iPad, and what step do people skip?

Remove the cap, plug the Lightning connector into the iPad's port, then tap the Pair button that appears on screen — the step most skip is waiting for that prompt before unplugging.

Which component will need replacement first on this 128GB model?

The internal lithium-ion battery is the part that degrades with charge cycles; Apple offers a battery service when capacity drops below 80 %.

What limit appears first during sustained AR use on the A10 Fusion chip?

The 2.3 GHz A10 Fusion throttles due to thermal limits, reducing frame rates in extended AR sessions.
