Sixth-generation iPad with 32 GB storage

This 9.7-inch tablet from 2018 runs iOS and ships unlocked with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, making it suitable for everyday browsing, media consumption and light productivity tasks. The silver finish matches the original Apple colourway and the unit is supplied new with a USB charging cable.

Practical limits of Wi-Fi-only connectivity

Because the model lacks cellular hardware, internet access depends entirely on nearby wireless networks or a personal hotspot. GPS works independently but map data must be downloaded while online. The 32 GB capacity restricts the number of apps, photos and offline files you can keep without cloud offloading. iOS updates will eventually stop arriving for this generation.

Simple setup with one common pitfall

Unbox, connect the included USB cable to a power source and follow the on-screen activation steps; no tools or technical skill are required. The main issue buyers encounter is discovering after purchase that the device cannot accept a SIM card, so it will not work on mobile data plans. Verify that Wi-Fi-only use matches your needs before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32GB model or look for a larger capacity?

The 32GB model suits light use such as web browsing, email and a few apps; if you plan to store many photos, videos or large games you will need more space.

How does the 9.7" screen feel in daily use?

The 9.7 inch display gives a compact, lightweight feel that is easy to hold with one hand while still showing full web pages and readable text.

What does Wi‑Fi only mean for connectivity?

The tablet connects to wireless networks at home, work or public hotspots but cannot use a mobile data plan when away from Wi‑Fi.
