10.2-inch iPad for everyday tasks

The 10.2-inch Retina display runs at 2160 x 1620 pixels and is driven by an A10 Fusion chip with two performance cores and four efficiency cores at 2.49 GHz. Three gigabytes of RAM keep iPadOS and common apps responsive. Cellular plus Wi-Fi connectivity means it works away from a router.

32 GB storage with cellular flexibility

Thirty-two gigabytes holds the operating system, a modest photo library and a handful of offline apps or media. Heavy local video libraries or large game collections will fill the space quickly. The cellular radio adds mobile data access without relying on a phone hotspot.

Step up from 16 GB or Wi-Fi-only models

Buyers moving up from a 16 GB iPad gain breathing room for updates and offline content. The cellular option removes the need to tether when travelling. Shoppers who need extensive local storage or a newer processor should look at higher-capacity or later-generation tablets.
