Seventh-generation iPad with 32 GB storage

The 2019 Apple iPad 7 combines a 10.2-inch IPS LCD display at 1620 x 2160 resolution with an A10 Fusion chipset running at 2.34 GHz. It ships new with 3 GB of memory, 32 GB of built-in storage and ipadOS pre-installed. Silver finish and a 1.2 MP front camera plus 8.0 MP rear camera complete the core specification.

Wi-Fi only connectivity limits mobile use

This model provides wireless networking exclusively through its Wi-Fi radio; no cellular modem is fitted. Buyers who need internet access away from a hotspot must tether to a phone or carry a separate mobile router. The single-port design also means charging and wired accessories share the same Lightning connector.

32 GB capacity defines the storage ceiling

With 32 GB of non-expandable internal storage, the device suits light media consumption, web browsing and cloud-centric workflows. Users who keep large photo libraries, offline video collections or many games will reach the limit quickly and cannot add a memory card. Choose a higher-capacity model if local storage headroom is a priority.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32 GB model or look for a larger capacity?

The 32 GB built-in storage holds the operating system, apps and media; if you keep many photos, videos or large apps on the device, a higher-capacity model gives more room.

What does the 2.34 GHz quad-core A10 Fusion chip deliver in everyday use?

The 2.34 GHz quad-core A10 Fusion processor with 3 GB memory runs ipadOS smoothly, handling web browsing, video streaming and multitasking without noticeable lag.

Which Wi-Fi standard does the tablet use and what speed can I expect?

The iPad 7th Gen connects via Wi-Fi only; actual throughput depends on your router, distance and interference, so speeds will vary in each environment.
