Compact 10.2-inch tablet for everyday tasks

The Apple iPad 8th Gen A2428 delivers a 10.2-inch Retina display with 2160 x 1620 resolution and True Tone technology. It runs on the A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine and includes 32GB of storage alongside 3GB of memory. This WiFi and Cellular unlocked model suits students and casual users handling browsing, media streaming and light productivity.

Storage ceiling and cellular flexibility

The 32GB built-in capacity cannot be expanded, so large media libraries or heavy app collections will require cloud offloading. Cellular connectivity works with any compatible carrier SIM, yet the device lacks support for the fastest modern wireless protocols. The 1.2MP front camera limits video-call clarity compared to current standards.

Step up from 16GB or older 9.7-inch models

Moving from a 16GB device removes the constant storage-management friction for offline content. The A12 chip provides a noticeable lift over A9 or A10 processors for multitasking and iPadOS 15.4 support. Buyers who need extensive local storage, professional-grade cameras or desktop-class workflows should look elsewhere.
