9.7 Retina tablet for mobile productivity

The 9.7 inch Retina display runs at 2048 by 1536 resolution with True Tone and wide color P3 for accurate visuals. An Apple A9X chip with 64 bit architecture and 2 GB RAM drives iPadOS smoothly across web browsing, streaming and light creative tasks. Internal storage of 32 GB holds essential apps and media while iCloud adds cloud backup capacity.

Silent operation with all day battery

Passive cooling keeps the aluminum chassis completely silent during normal workloads such as document editing or video playback. The efficient A9X processor and iPadOS power management deliver long battery life on a single charge without fan noise or noticeable heat buildup. A Lightning port handles charging and accessory power without requiring a separate power brick.

Premium aluminum build with versatile accessories

Silver anodized aluminum gives a rigid, lightweight feel that resists flex during daily carry. Touch ID integrates into the home button for fast unlock and secure purchases. Four speakers provide stereo sound in both orientations. The Lightning connector supports Apple Pencil first generation and Smart Keyboard for note taking and typing on the go.
