The Apple iPad 9th Gen A2602 delivers a 10.2-inch Retina display powered by the A13 Bionic chip with Neural Engine. It ships with iPadOS 15.4, 64GB of built-in storage and 3GB of memory. An 8-megapixel rear camera and Touch ID complete the core feature set for everyday tasks.

Students and casual users seeking a capable tablet

This unit suits students, families and light productivity users who need a reliable iPad for web browsing, streaming, note-taking and video calls. Buyers requiring cellular connectivity, more than 64GB of storage or the latest processor architecture should consider other models.

64GB fixed storage capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the non-expandable 64GB SSD. If your apps, media library or offline workflows exceed that space, this iPad will not meet the requirement and a higher-capacity model is necessary.

Questions about this item

How do I install the UL approved power adapter and charging cable that come with the iPad A2602?

Connect the USB end of the included cable to the power adapter, plug the adapter into a mains socket, then insert the Lightning connector into the iPad's charging port; the step often missed is ensuring the adapter is fully seated in the outlet before connecting the tablet.

What maintenance will the 64GB storage and 3GB memory configuration need over time?

The solid-state storage and soldered memory require no user-serviceable maintenance; keep iPadOS updated and avoid filling the 64GB capacity to maintain performance.

At what point does the A13 Bionic chip throttle during sustained workloads?

The chip reduces clock speeds when its internal thermal sensors reach the factory-set limit, which typically occurs after extended high-load tasks such as 3D rendering or prolonged video export.
