First-generation iPad Air with 32 GB storage

This Apple iPad Air 1st Gen ships with 32 GB of built-in storage and a 9.7-inch Retina display. It runs iOS 12 and is capped at iOS 12.5.5, so it cannot install current apps that require newer system versions. The Wi-Fi-only model suits basic browsing, media playback and light productivity tasks.

Simple setup with Wi-Fi only

Power on, join a Wi-Fi network and sign in with an Apple ID to begin. No cellular hardware is present, so a hotspot or router is required for internet access. The Lightning port accepts the included UL-approved charger. The main limitation is the maximum iOS 12.5.5, which blocks many modern apps and security updates.

Suitable for legacy app testing or media use

This unit fits developers who need an iOS 12 test device, collectors wanting a first-generation Air, or users who only stream video and browse the web. Buyers who need current banking apps, modern games or the latest iOS features should look elsewhere. The 1 GB of RAM and older processor also limit multitasking performance.
