First-generation iPad Air for everyday tasks

The A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and M7 motion coprocessor handles web browsing, email and media playback. Internal storage is 32GB and connectivity is WiFi only. It suits students, casual users or anyone needing a lightweight tablet for basic productivity.

Sustained use on the A7 and M7 coprocessor

The 64-bit A7 chip and M7 motion coprocessor manage background tasks and sensor data without slowing the interface during extended sessions. The LED-backlit IPS panel maintains consistent brightness and colour accuracy over long periods. Passive cooling keeps the device silent while the 32GB storage holds apps and local files without expansion options.

Simple WiFi setup with included charger

Connecting to a wireless network takes a few taps in iOS; no SIM tray or cellular configuration is required. The package provides a wall charger and data cable so the tablet charges immediately. Cosmetic wear is minor at Grade B+ level, and the original box is not included. Buyers who need cellular data or more than 32GB of storage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the A7 chip and M7 coprocessor run hot or drain the battery quickly when I leave the iPad on all day?

The A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and M7 motion coprocessor is designed for efficient performance; the 9.7-inch Retina display with LED backlighting and 264 ppi resolution manages power draw during extended use.

Which charger and cable do I need to own already so the 32GB WiFi model can charge and sync out of the box?

A wall charger and data cable are included with the tablet, so no additional accessories are required for charging or syncing via the Lightning port.

Will my older 30-pin dock or accessories still work with this 9.7-inch Space Gray iPad Air?

This model uses a Lightning connector, so 30-pin docks and accessories are not compatible without a separate adapter.
