What this iPad Air 3 does

The 10.5-inch iPad Air 3 with 256 GB of storage runs iPadOS 15.4 on an Apple A12 Bionic chip and 3 GB of LPDDR4X memory. It is a 2019 tablet for everyday tasks, media consumption and light productivity with Apple Pencil (1st generation) and Smart Keyboard support.

Setup and common issues

The tablet arrives fully inspected and functional with a UL-approved power adapter and cable. No headphones, SIM card or original packaging are included. Cellular models are unlocked; activation only requires a compatible nano-SIM. Touch ID and True Tone calibrate automatically on first boot.

Storage headroom and limits

The 256 GB internal SSD holds a large offline media library, many apps and documents with room to spare. Heavy video editing or very large game collections will eventually fill the drive because storage is not expandable. The 3 GB of LPDDR4X RAM handles multitasking well but can limit the number of pro apps kept open simultaneously.
