iPad Air A1474 9.7" 32GB Space Gray

The Apple iPad Air A1474 is a 9.7-inch tablet with 32GB of built-in storage and 1GB of memory. It runs iOS 12 and connects via WiFi only. The Space Gray unit is sold new and includes a UL approved power adapter and charging cable.

Suits light everyday use, not heavier workloads

This tablet suits buyers who want a portable device for email, web browsing and media streaming on a high-resolution retina display. It is not for users who need cellular connectivity, expandable storage or more RAM for demanding multitasking. The FaceTime HD camera covers basic video calls.

32GB fixed storage decides fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 32GB of non-expandable built-in storage. If your apps, photos and offline media will exceed that capacity, you will need a model with more space. The 1GB of memory and WiFi-only connectivity are fixed alongside it.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the A1474 produce after hours of use?

The iPad Air A1474 has no fan and runs silently; its aluminium chassis dissipates warmth during long sessions.

Which accessories must I already own to charge and use this WiFi-only A1474?

A UL-approved power adapter and charging cable are included, so no extra charger is needed for daily use.

Will my older 30-pin dock or Lightning audio gear work with this first-generation iPad Air?

The A1474 uses a Lightning port, so 30-pin accessories need an adapter while Lightning headphones or docks connect directly.
