iPad Air A1474 9.7" 16GB Space Gray

The Apple iPad Air A1474 is a 9.7 inch Wi-Fi tablet with 16GB of built-in storage and 1GB of memory. It runs iOS 12.5.5 on the Apple A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and M7 co-processor. The Space Gray model includes a 9.7 inch Retina display and a 5MP iSight rear camera. This new device suits basic web browsing, email and video streaming.

Included charger and 90-day coverage

The box contains an aftermarket charger replacement rather than the original Apple accessory. A 90-day warranty backs the purchase against defects. No other cables, adapters or software bundles are mentioned in the supplier data. The charger allows immediate use but may differ from the factory-supplied unit in design or charging speed.

Suits light media use; not for modern apps

This tablet works for buyers who need a simple iOS device for web browsing, email and watching videos in a browser. It does not suit users who require current app compatibility because the maximum supported iOS is 12.5.5 and many modern applications will not install. Buyers needing more storage, cellular connectivity or a newer operating system should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Will the 16GB storage need expansion or cleanup later?

The 16GB built-in storage cannot be expanded, so you will need to delete unused apps or offload files to cloud services when space runs low.

What limit appears first during continuous use?

The maximum supported iOS is 12.5.5, so newer apps and security updates will stop installing before the hardware wears out.

How much heat or battery drain occurs after running all day?

Apple rates the battery for up to 10 hours of typical use, and the thin aluminium chassis passively dissipates heat without a fan.
