Compact 7.9-inch tablet for mobile professionals

The iPad mini 4 delivers a 7.9-inch display in a form factor that fits one-handed use. Its 128GB of internal storage holds apps, documents and media without relying on cloud sync. Cellular connectivity is unlocked for 4G LTE, so the device works with any compatible carrier SIM. Released in 2015, it targets users who need a lightweight secondary screen for field work or travel.

Integrates with existing Apple ecosystem

The tablet runs iOS apps and syncs via iCloud, so it slots into a workflow that already uses a Mac or iPhone. No external keyboard or stylus is required, though both are supported separately. The included aftermarket wall charger and USB cable provide power without needing the original Apple adapter. Original packaging is not supplied, freeing shelf space in a deployment kit.

Sustained operation on battery power

The 100% functional certification confirms the battery holds charge through extended sessions. Passive thermal management keeps the aluminium enclosure warm but not hot during continuous LTE data use. Screen brightness and background refresh can be tuned to stretch runtime on a single charge. No active cooling means silent operation in quiet environments.
