iPad 5 9.7" for everyday tasks

The iPad 5 9.7" with 32 GB flash storage runs on an Apple A9 processor and embedded M9 coprocessor. It suits students, casual browsers and light productivity users who need a compact Wi-Fi tablet. The 9.7 inch IPS display shows 2048 x 1536 resolution. Buyers who want cellular connectivity or expandable storage should look elsewhere.

32 GB capacity and app headroom

32 GB handles a moderate library of apps, documents and photos with room for iOS updates. Heavy media collections, large games or extensive offline video libraries will fill the space quickly. The dual-band 802.11 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 keep cloud sync and peripheral pairing responsive within that limit.

Universal case and stylus in the bundle

A universal tablet case adds drop protection and a stand angle for typing or video. The included stylus enables handwritten notes and sketching on the Multi-Touch screen. A non-OEM Lightning to USB cable and charging block complete the kit for immediate charging.

Questions about this item

Will the iPad 5 with its Apple A9 and 32 GB storage run the same apps as my older iPad Air?

The Apple A9 processor and 64-bit architecture with embedded M9 coprocessor support current iOS releases, so most apps that run on an iPad Air will also run here, though performance may differ.

How can I verify the 9.7 inch 2048 x 1536 IPS display and both cameras are working after setup?

Open the Camera app to test the 8.0 MP rear and 1.2 MP front cameras, then view a high-resolution photo to confirm the LED-backlit Multi-Touch IPS panel shows 2048 x 1536 detail without dead pixels.

Does the bundle include a Lightning cable and charger or must I buy them separately?

The box contains the iPad MP2F2LL/A, a universal tablet case, a stylus, and a non-OEM Lightning to USB cable with charging block, so no separate purchase is needed for charging.
