Refurbished 9.7" Retina Tablet

This refurbished iPad Air from 2013 delivers a 9.7 inch Retina display at 2048 x 1536 resolution in a 7.5mm thin enclosure weighing 1.00 lb. It runs on the Apple A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and 1GB memory. The Wi-Fi only model supports 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connectivity.

16GB Storage and iOS 12 Limit

The device offers 16GB of built-in flash storage with no expansion option. It ships with iOS installed and supports a maximum of iOS 12, meaning current app compatibility is restricted. Buyers needing more local space or the latest operating system features should consider other options.

Sustained Performance on A7 Chip

The A7 processor with 64-bit architecture handles everyday tasks and media playback within its thermal envelope. Under continuous load the slim chassis manages heat passively without active cooling. The 1GB memory limit may cause app reloads during extended multitasking sessions.

Questions about this item

What does the 64-bit A7 chip mean for everyday apps?

The 64-bit architecture lets the A7 processor handle modern iOS 12 apps and multitasking smoothly within the 1 GB memory limit.

How fast is the Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n connection in practice?

Dual-antenna MIMO on the 802.11a/b/g/n radio gives up to twice the throughput of single-antenna models on compatible networks.

Will the 7.5 mm thick, 1.00 lb body fit my existing 9.7 inch case?

At 9.40 x 6.60 x 0.29 inches it matches the iPad Air (2013) footprint, so cases made for that model will fit.
