Unlocked iPhone 12 with 128GB storage

The Apple iPhone 12 is a factory unlocked smartphone with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs iOS 14.1 out of the box and can be upgraded to iOS 16.1. The device features a 6.1 inch OLED display with 1170 x 2532 pixel resolution and Ceramic Shield front glass.

Buyers who need expandable storage

This model suits users who want a compact unlocked iPhone with Face ID, dual rear cameras, and 5G connectivity. The Lightning port provides charging and data transfer at USB 2.0 speeds. Shoppers who require a microSD slot or larger built-in capacity should consider other devices.

128GB fixed internal storage

The single specification that decides fit is the 128GB non-expandable storage capacity. There is no card slot, so all apps, photos, and system files must fit within this space. Buyers who anticipate heavier local media libraries will need a higher-capacity variant.

Questions about this item

How long can the A14 Bionic chip sustain peak performance before thermal throttling reduces speed?

The hexa-core processor with 2x3.1 GHz Firestorm and 4x1.8 GHz Icestorm cores manages heat through iOS thermal management, but sustained peak performance duration varies by workload intensity and ambient temperature.

Does the iPhone 12 get hot or loud during all-day use with 5G and the OLED display active?

The device has no fan; heat dissipates through the aluminum frame and Ceramic Shield glass. Under continuous 5G and maximum brightness, the rear glass becomes warm but remains comfortable to hold.

Which charger and cable are required to power the Lightning port at USB 2.0 speeds?

A USB-C Power Delivery charger rated 20 W or higher and a USB-C to Lightning cable are needed; the box includes a wall charger but cable type depends on regional packaging.
