Refurbished iPhone 12 64 GB

This refurbished Apple iPhone 12 ships unlocked for GSM and CDMA networks with 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. It runs iOS 14 on a hexa-core processor with two 3.1 GHz performance cores and four 1.8 GHz efficiency cores. The green handset includes a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display at 2532 x 1170 resolution. A wall charger is supplied in the box.

Thermals and battery in daily use

The non-removable Li-Ion battery powers the A14 Bionic chip through typical workloads without active cooling, relying on the aluminium frame for passive heat spread. Normal tasks such as browsing, streaming and photography run silently with no audible fan noise because none is present. Power draw scales with 5G modem activity and Dolby Vision recording, both of which the processor handles efficiently.

Upgrade considerations

Buyers moving from a handset with an LCD screen gain the contrast and pixel density of an edge-to-edge OLED panel. The dual 12 MP rear cameras add Night mode on both Wide and Ultra Wide modules plus Dolby Vision video capture. Users who need more than 64 GB of onboard storage or a newer iOS launch version should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I activate the eSIM on this fully unlocked iPhone 12, and what step do people miss?

Insert a nano-SIM or scan a carrier QR code in Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan; the step often missed is confirming the primary line for iMessage and FaceTime after the plan activates.

What part will need replacement first on this refurbished unit with a non-removable Li-Ion battery?

The sealed Li-Ion cell is the first component that degrades; once maximum capacity falls below 80 % the phone will throttle performance and a battery swap is required.

What thermal limit appears first during sustained 5G use on the A14 Bionic hexa-core processor?

The 6.1 inch OLED display and metal frame dissipate heat until the system reduces the 3.1 GHz Firestorm core clocks to protect the 4 GB RAM and internal components.
