What this iPhone 12 delivers

This Apple iPhone 12 is a fully unlocked smartphone with 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. It runs iOS 14 on a hexa-core A14 Bionic processor and features a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. The handset ships new in Grade C cosmetic condition and includes a wall charger in the box.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers wanting a compact unlocked iPhone with Face ID, dual 12 MP rear cameras and 5G connectivity will find this model fits the requirement. Customers who need more than 64 GB of internal storage, a newer iOS version out of the box, or a pristine Grade A finish should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The 64 GB fixed storage capacity is the single figure that determines whether this iPhone 12 meets your needs. If your apps, photos and media demand more space, this unit will not be sufficient; if 64 GB covers your usage, the unlocked GSM/CDMA radio and A14 chip make it ready for immediate activation.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 64GB version or wait for a larger capacity?

The 64GB model suits everyday apps, photos and streaming if you offload media to iCloud or a computer; heavier local libraries will fill it quickly.

What does the A14 Bionic hexa-core processor deliver in daily use?

Two 3.1 GHz Firestorm and four 1.8 GHz Icestorm cores with 4 GB RAM keep iOS 14 smooth, handle multitasking and run demanding games without lag.

How does the Lightning USB 2.0 port limit data transfer and charging?

The port uses USB 2.0 signalling for sync and works with standard Lightning chargers; speeds match the USB 2.0 specification.
