Unlocked iPhone 12 with 128 GB storage

This unlocked Apple iPhone 12 (model A2172) comes in Blue with 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. It runs iOS on a 6.1-inch display and uses the A14 Bionic processor clocked at 3.0 GHz. The dual 12 MP rear cameras cover wide and ultra-wide angles. It is sold new and fully unlocked for any compatible carrier.

Who this suits and who it does not

Buyers who want a factory-unlocked iPhone with 128 GB storage and a 6.1-inch screen will find this model fits. Users who need more than 128 GB of onboard storage or a larger display should look at other options. The single 128 GB capacity and 6.1-inch size are fixed and cannot be expanded or changed.

Deciding specification: 128 GB fixed storage

The 128 GB storage capacity is the single specification that decides fit. It cannot be upgraded after purchase, so buyers must be sure this amount meets their needs for apps, photos and video. If 128 GB is sufficient, the unlocked A2172 model works; if not, a different capacity is required.

Questions about this item

Does the 128 GB internal storage need any maintenance or can it be replaced later?

The 128 GB storage is fixed on the logic board and cannot be upgraded or serviced by the user.

What limit appears first when the A14 Bionic runs at 3.0 GHz for a long period?

Thermal throttling will reduce the 3.0 GHz clock speed before any other hardware limit is reached.

How much heat or fan noise does the iPhone 12 produce when used continuously all day?

There is no fan; the aluminium frame dissipates heat silently, so the device stays quiet while warming slightly.
