iPhone 12 A2172 64GB Black

The Apple iPhone 12 A2172 is an unlocked smartphone with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. It runs iOS 15.4 on a 3.0 GHz Apple A14 Bionic processor. The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display features Ceramic Shield for improved drop resistance. This Grade A+ unit is in like-new condition and includes a UL approved power adapter and charging cable.

Suited for everyday iOS users

Buyers who need a single SIM handset with 5G connectivity and a dual 12 MP rear camera system will find this model fits well. The 64GB capacity handles typical apps, photos and streaming media. Shoppers who require more storage, a larger screen, a triple camera array or a physical SIM tray alongside eSIM should consider other options.

Sustained performance on A14 Bionic

The A14 Bionic chip maintains consistent speeds during extended tasks such as 4K Dolby Vision recording, gaming or multitasking. iOS 15.4 manages thermals and background activity to prevent throttling during long sessions. Battery life supports a full day of mixed 5G and Wi-Fi use. MagSafe accessories attach magnetically for convenient wireless charging without cable wear.

Questions about this item

Does the phone need a SIM card and a 5G plan to use its 5G download speeds?

Yes, insert an active nano-SIM from a carrier that supports 5G; the A2172 model connects to 5G networks for fast downloads and streaming.

Will my existing Lightning cables and 5 W USB-A chargers still charge this iPhone 12?

Yes, the Lightning port works with older cables and 5 W adapters, though charging will be slower than with a 20 W USB-C power adapter.

How can I confirm the A14 Bionic is running at its rated 3.0 GHz after setup?

Open Settings > General > About to verify the model shows A2172 and iOS 15.4, then run a benchmark app such as Geekbench to see the CPU frequency reach 3.0 GHz under load.
