Buyers wanting a single-SIM iPhone on T-Mobile

This model suits anyone needing a reliable iOS device with 5G and a compact 6.1-inch screen for media and photography. It is not for shoppers who require dual-SIM capability, larger internal storage, or a device certified for networks other than T-Mobile. Users wanting the latest iOS version or a brand-new unopened unit should consider other options.

Straightforward setup

The phone arrives fully functional after a 30-point inspection and includes a power adapter and cable, so initial configuration is quick. No headphones, SIM card or manual are supplied, which means buyers must source those separately. Cosmetic wear from normal use is present, and the 90-day warranty covers functional defects only.

Questions about this item

Does the A2172 need a nano-SIM or an eSIM profile to activate on my carrier?

The A2172 accepts a nano-SIM card and also supports eSIM, so you can activate service with either a physical SIM from your carrier or a downloaded eSIM profile.

Will my existing Lightning cables and 5 W USB-A power adapters charge the iPhone 12 at full speed?

Lightning cables work for data and charging, but the 5 W USB-A adapter only delivers standard charging; for faster wireless charging you need a MagSafe charger and a 20 W or higher USB-C power adapter.

How can I verify the A14 Bionic is running at its rated 3.0 GHz after setup?

iOS does not expose a live CPU clock readout, but you can confirm the A14 is active by checking Settings > General > About for the model A2172 and by running a benchmark app that reports peak single-core frequency near 3.0 GHz.
