What this iPhone 13 Pro delivers

This Apple iPhone 13 Pro ships new and fully unlocked with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 6.1-inch display runs iOS 15 out of the box and can be updated to iOS 16.4. It suits anyone who wants a compact flagship with a triple-camera system and dual-SIM flexibility.

Getting it running and common snags

Insert a nano-SIM or activate an eSIM profile to connect to any carrier; the device accepts both simultaneously. No tools are required for the SIM tray. The only frequent hiccup is forgetting to disable the old device’s Activation Lock before swapping the SIM, which stalls the initial setup.

What the Lightning port and iOS 15 limit

The Lightning connector caps wired data transfer at USB 2.0 speeds, so large ProRes video offloads take longer than on USB-C devices. iOS 15 restricts some later-stage privacy reports and passkey sync features that arrived in newer releases. Buyers who need faster wired throughput or the latest OS-level security tools will hit those walls.
