What it is and who it is for

The Apple iPhone 15 Plus is a refurbished unlocked smartphone with 128 GB storage and a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. It runs the A16 Bionic chip and a dual camera system with a 48 MP main sensor and 12 MP ultra wide lens. The handset is sold in Very Good cosmetic condition and works on all major carriers using dual eSIM technology.

Upgrading from an older iPhone

Moving from a model with a smaller screen, lower storage or an earlier processor brings a larger 2796 by 1290 pixel display, 48 MP photography with sensor shift stabilization and 4K Dolby Vision video at 60 fps. The jump is worth it if you want the bigger battery, IP68 water resistance and the Dynamic Island interface without stepping up to a Pro model.

Installation notes

The phone arrives unlocked and ready for eSIM activation; no physical SIM tray is present so carriers must support eSIM provisioning. Face ID and all sensors are tested during refurbishment. The only common issue is ensuring your carrier can activate an eSIM profile before you erase your old device.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with Ceramic Shield need a specific case cut-out for Face ID?

The Face ID sensors sit in the Dynamic Island at the top of the 6.7-inch screen; choose a case designed for iPhone 15 Plus so the TrueDepth camera and dot projector remain uncovered.

What is the correct way to activate the dual eSIM on this unlocked unit?

After turning on the phone, use Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM to scan a carrier QR code or transfer from a previous iPhone; do not insert a physical nano-SIM because the 15 Plus only supports eSIM.

When will the 4383 mAh battery typically need replacement?

The non-removable Li-Ion cell is rated to hold up to 80 % of its original capacity after a high number of full charge cycles; iOS will show a “Service” notice in Settings > Battery when it falls below that threshold.
