Product identity

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus is a 5.5-inch unlocked smartphone with 16GB storage in Space Gray. It runs iOS 12.5.8 on an A8 chip with M8 coprocessor and a 1920 x 1080 Retina HD display at 401 ppi. The device supports 4G LTE on a single Nano SIM.

Upgrade context

This model replaces earlier 4-inch iPhones by adding a larger 5.5-inch screen and optical image stabilization on the 8-megapixel camera. The jump is worthwhile for users who want a bigger display for media and better low-light photos without moving to a newer generation.

Buyer fit

It suits anyone needing an affordable unlocked iPhone for calls, messaging and light apps on a fixed iOS version. Buyers who need current iOS updates, Touch ID security or more than 16GB of storage should consider other options.
