Replacement parts and limits

The supplier has fitted a new replacement screen, a new replacement battery tested to hold over 90 % health and a new replacement camera module. Touch ID is not available; the device unlocks by passcode only. The operating system is fixed at version 15.8.8 and cannot be updated, downgraded or factory reset. The handset is not waterproof and must be kept away from moisture.

Deciding specification

The locked iOS version 15.8.8 is the single detail that determines whether this iPhone suits you. If you need current app updates, security patches or the ability to reset the device, this unit will not meet that requirement. Buyers who must run the latest iOS releases should look elsewhere.
