AT&T-Locked iPhone 7 with 32 GB Storage

This unlocked handset is the Apple iPhone 7 model A1778 in Matte Black, limited to the AT&T network and supplied with 32 GB of internal storage. It runs iOS on a 4.7-inch touch screen, offers 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a front-facing camera, and is powered by a lithium-ion battery that supports fast charging.

Buyers who need carrier freedom

The device works only on AT&T, so anyone requiring multi-network use or international roaming flexibility cannot use this model. The fixed 32 GB storage and 2 GB RAM also rule it out for users who install many large apps or capture extensive 4K video libraries.

Model A1778 locks the phone to AT&T only

This manufacturer number identifies the specific hardware variant that restricts service to AT&T, making it the single specification that determines whether the handset matches a buyer's network requirements.

Questions about this item

How often will the 32GB storage need to be cleared or expanded as apps and iOS updates grow?

The 32GB capacity is fixed and cannot be expanded. You will need to offload photos, videos or unused apps whenever free space runs low, especially after major iOS updates.

Which component hits its limit first during hours of continuous LTE use — battery or thermal throttling?

The lithium-ion battery will deplete before thermal limits are reached, so runtime ends when the charge runs out.

Does the A1778 model get hot or loud while charging at the rated fast-charging speed?

The phone has no fan, so it stays silent; the back may feel warm during fast charging but returns to normal temperature once the battery is full.
