iPhone 7 Plus 256GB Red Unlocked

The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a GSM-unlocked smartphone with 256 GB of internal storage in a red finish. It is sold new and graded B, meaning the body may show dents, chips or scuffs and the screen may have hairline scratches. The 5.5-inch Retina IPS LCD delivers a typical brightness of 625 nits and the handset weighs 188 g.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This model suits buyers who want a legacy iOS device with a large storage capacity and a physical home button. It does not suit users who require Face ID, 5G connectivity, a modern aspect-ratio display, wireless charging, or a pristine cosmetic condition. Buyers needing expandable storage or a headphone jack should also consider other options.

Deciding specification: 256 GB storage

The single specification that determines fit is the 256 GB of non-expandable internal storage. If your apps, photos and local media fit within this limit the phone will work; if you need more space or a microSD slot this is not the right part.

Questions about this item

How long does the battery last when the 5.5-inch Retina IPS LCD runs at 625 nits all day?

Apple does not publish a continuous-use battery figure for the 5.5-inch Retina IPS LCD at 625 nits; real-world screen-on time varies with workload and signal strength.

Does the Nano-SIM slot accept the eSIM profile I already use on my carrier account?

This iPhone 7 Plus uses a physical Nano-SIM only and has no eSIM capability, so an existing eSIM profile cannot be transferred to it.

Will my Lightning headphones and older 5 W USB-A charger work with the Lightning port on this model?

Yes, the Lightning connector supports existing Lightning headphones and any USB-A power adapter with a Lightning cable, including the 5 W charger.
