What it is and who it fits

The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a 5.5-inch unlocked smartphone with 32 GB of storage and a dual 12 MP rear camera. It runs on the A10 Fusion chip and features a 1920 x 1080 IPS display with 401 ppi. The silver aluminium body is water-resistant and uses a Nano SIM. It suits buyers who want a capable legacy iPhone for everyday apps and 4K video capture.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This model fits users who prefer the classic Home button with Touch ID and a traditional LCD screen. It supports 4G LTE networks and standard Nano SIM cards. Buyers who need Face ID, 5G connectivity, an OLED display, more than 32 GB of internal storage, or modern USB-C charging should consider a different device.

The specification that decides fit

The 32 GB fixed storage capacity is the single factor that determines suitability. There is no microSD expansion, so all apps, photos, 2160p videos and system files must fit within this space. If your media library exceeds 32 GB, this iPhone will not meet your needs.

Questions about this item

Does the iPhone 7 Plus 32GB Silver come with headphones or a charger, or must I buy them separately?

The box includes EarPods with Lightning connector, a Lightning to USB cable and a 5 W USB power adapter; no extra purchases are required for basic use.

Should I choose the 32 GB model or look for a larger capacity for 4K video and many apps?

32 GB holds the operating system plus a moderate number of apps and photos, but 4K video at 2160p fills space quickly, so heavy shooters should consider a higher capacity.

What does the 401 ppi pixel density on the 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 display mean for daily viewing?

Text and images appear very sharp at normal reading distance, and the LED-backlit IPS LCD panel delivers wide viewing angles and accurate colour reproduction.
