iPhone 8 A1905 64GB for everyday users

The Apple iPhone 8 A1905 comes with 64GB of internal storage and runs iOS 15.4 on the 2.4 GHz A11 Bionic chip with 2GB of RAM. It is an unlocked bar-style phone finished in Space Gray and includes a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with True Tone. Touch ID and Apple Pay provide secure authentication and payments.

64GB capacity and A11 Bionic headroom

The 64GB capacity holds a typical mix of apps, photos and messages without needing constant off-loading. The A11 Bionic processor handles current iOS features and everyday multitasking smoothly, while the 12 MP camera with OIS captures detailed images. Heavy gaming or large local media libraries will eventually fill the storage and push the processor harder.

iOS 15.4 and Lightning interface limits

The device ships with iOS 15.4 and will not receive newer major iOS releases, so future app compatibility may diminish over time. Charging and data transfer use the Lightning connector, which caps wired speeds below modern USB-C alternatives. Wireless charging is supported but limited to the standard Qi rates available on this model.

Questions about this item

Will the 4.7" display and iOS 15.4 run the same apps as my iPhone 6s?

The iPhone 8 uses the A11 Bionic chip and 2 GB RAM, so it supports iOS 15.4 and runs every app that requires that version, which includes all current App Store titles.

How can I verify the 12 MP camera and Touch ID are functioning after I activate the phone?

Open the Camera app and take a test photo; the image should save at full resolution. Then go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and add a fingerprint — successful enrolment confirms the sensor works.

Does the box contain a Lightning cable and power adapter, or do I need to buy them separately?

A UL-approved power adapter and charging cable are included. Headphones, a SIM card and the original manual are not supplied.
