iPhone 8 A1905 64GB Space Gray

The Apple iPhone 8 A1905 offers 64GB of storage and a 4.7-inch Retina HD display in Space Gray. It runs iOS 15.4 on the 2.4 GHz A11 Bionic chip with 2GB RAM. This unlocked unit works on T-Mobile networks and includes a 12 MP rear camera with OIS. It suits users who want a compact iPhone with wireless charging.

Installation and common issues

The device arrives unlocked for T-Mobile service and requires a compatible nano-SIM to activate. Insert the SIM, power on, then follow the on-screen iOS setup steps to restore from iCloud or set up as new. A frequent issue is carrier-lock confusion; this model only works on T-Mobile and its MVNOs, not on other networks. Another common problem is reduced battery health on older stock, which may trigger unexpected shutdowns under load.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous use the A11 Bionic manages heat by throttling clock speeds, so frame rates in long gaming sessions drop after several minutes. The 2GB RAM limits background app retention, causing frequent reloads when switching between heavy apps. Battery drain accelerates with GPS, 4G and maximum screen brightness active together, reducing screen-on time noticeably. Wireless charging slows when the glass back gets warm, extending the time to reach full capacity.
