The 5.5-inch Retina HD display features True Tone technology. This configuration suits users who need ample local storage and carrier freedom.

Sustained A11 Bionic Performance

The A11 Bionic chip maintains consistent output during extended tasks rather than only short bursts. Its architecture handles the 12MP dual camera system with optical image stabilisation and PDAF without thermal throttling. iOS 15.4 manages background processes to keep the 3GB RAM available for multitasking. The device resists water and dust during daily exposure.

Durable Glass Aluminium Build

The most durable glass front and back pair with a stronger aerospace-grade aluminium band for structural rigidity. Wireless charging works through the glass back with the included charger. A UL approved power adapter and cable are supplied in non-original packaging. Buyers who want a headphone jack or expandable storage should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How much heat and battery drain does the 2.4 GHz Apple A11 Bionic produce during all-day use?

The A11 Bionic runs at 2.4 GHz and powers the 5.5-inch Retina HD display; typical all-day use stays within normal phone temperatures and the 256GB storage adds no extra heat.

Which wireless charger standard does the included pad use so I know it will work with my existing Qi devices?

The bundled wireless charger follows the Qi standard built into the iPhone 8 Plus glass back, so any Qi-certified pad or stand will also charge the phone.

Will my older Lightning headphones and 5 W USB-A power adapter still work with this model?

Yes — the Lightning port and USB-A charging cable are unchanged, so existing Lightning headphones and legacy 5 W adapters continue to function.
