Compatibility checklist

Verify that your nano-SIM card is active and compatible with the A1984 model's supported LTE bands for your carrier. Ensure you have a Lightning cable and USB power adapter, as only a UL-approved charging cable is included in the box. Check that your Apple ID credentials are ready for iOS 15.4 setup and iCloud restoration. Confirm any essential apps are compatible with this iOS version before switching devices.

Ideal users and exceptions

This phone suits buyers wanting a colorful, affordable iPhone with Face ID, a large 6.1-inch screen, and 128GB storage for everyday apps and photos. It fits users who accept a Grade B cosmetic condition and do not need the original box, headphones, or a SIM tool. Buyers who require a pristine, new-in-box appearance or dual rear cameras should look at other options. Those needing 5G connectivity or the latest iOS updates long-term may prefer a newer model.
