Apple iPhone XR A1984 256GB Black

This unlocked smartphone offers 256GB of internal storage and a 6.1-inch display. It runs on iOS with 3GB of RAM and an Apple A12 Bionic processor clocked at 2.49 GHz. The device suits users who want a capable iOS handset with ample space for apps and media without stepping up to a newer flagship tier.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

The A12 Bionic chip delivers efficient performance for typical tasks such as browsing, messaging and video playback. iOS 15.4 manages background activity to keep the handset cool and responsive during normal operation. Battery life comfortably supports a full day of mixed use on a single charge. The phone runs quietly with no moving parts to generate audible noise.

12 MP rear camera with OIS and BSI sensor

A single 12-megapixel camera features a sapphire crystal lens cover, optical image stabilisation, phase-detection autofocus and a backside-illuminated CMOS sensor. This setup captures detailed photos and 4K video in good light while the larger pixels and OIS help in lower-light scenes. Buyers who want a multi-lens system with telephoto or ultra-wide perspectives should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I install the nano-SIM in the iPhone XR A1984, and which way does the tray go back in?

Insert the eject tool into the pinhole on the right edge, pull the tray out, place the nano-SIM with the angled corner matching the tray cut-out, then slide the tray back in until it clicks flush.

What part will need replacement first on this iPhone XR A1984 after heavy daily use?

The Lightning port is the component most likely to wear out first; lint and repeated plugging can loosen the contacts and make charging unreliable.

What limit appears first when the iPhone XR A1984 runs a demanding task for a long period?

The A12 Bionic will throttle its 2.49 GHz clock speed once the internal temperature rises, reducing sustained performance until the phone cools down.
