Questions about this item

What iOS version does the A1984 ship with, and what is the latest it can run?

It ships with iOS 15.4 installed; the A12 Bionic supports later iOS releases, so you can update through Settings when a newer version is available.

Will a 6.1-inch display and glass back fit standard iPhone XR cases and screen protectors?

Yes, the 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD and glass rear match the standard iPhone XR dimensions, so any case or protector made for the XR will align correctly.

How do I set up Face ID on this unlocked unit, and what step do people often miss?

Open Settings, tap Face ID & Passcode, then Enroll Face; the step many skip is moving your head in a full circle during both scans so the TrueDepth camera captures every angle.
