What this iPhone XR is for

The Apple iPhone XR model A1984 arrives new in Coral with 64 GB of storage and a 6.06-inch Liquid Retina display. It runs iOS 15.4 on the A12 Bionic processor clocked at 2.49 GHz and includes a 12 MP camera with optical image stabilisation. The device is locked to T-Mobile and ships with a UL-approved power adapter and cable.

Upgrade path and when it matters

This phone replaces an older iPhone that feels slow on current apps or lacks Face ID. The jump is worth it when you want the A12 Bionic speed for modern iOS features and a larger screen without moving to an OLED model. Buyers who need more than 64 GB of onboard storage or dual rear cameras should look elsewhere.

Capacity comfort zone and limits

The 64 GB capacity handles everyday apps, photos and streaming caches comfortably for light to moderate users. Heavy offline media libraries or large game collections will fill the space quickly. The A12 Bionic keeps current iOS versions responsive, though future major updates may eventually exceed the available headroom.

A protector cut for the 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD will fit the 6.06-inch active area on this iPhone XR.

What is the correct way to insert the nano-SIM tray on the A1984 model?

Use the eject tool in the small hole on the right edge; the tray only seats one way with the angled corner matching the slot.
