iPhone XS 256GB Gold — unlocked GSM phone

The Apple iPhone XS is a 5.8-inch unlocked smartphone with 256GB of internal storage in a gold finish. It runs on GSM networks and supports both a nano-SIM and an eSIM for dual-line use. The stainless-steel frame and glass front and back give it a premium feel. Buyers who want more storage or a larger display will need a different model.

Check GSM compatibility

Verify that your carrier operates on GSM bands and that your plan supports eSIM activation alongside a physical nano-SIM. The unit is graded B, meaning the body may show dents, chips or scuffs and the screen may have hairline scratches. No charger or cable is mentioned in the supplied data. Buyers who need a pristine, retail-boxed device should look elsewhere.

OLED brightness, glass build and 177 g weight

The Super Retina OLED panel peaks at 625 nits in high-brightness mode and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The all-glass front and back with a stainless-steel frame add rigidity but can feel slippery without a case. At 177 g and 7.7 mm thick, the phone is dense for its size. No thermal, noise or power-draw figures are provided for normal use.

Questions about this item

What is included with the iPhone XS and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The iPhone XS 256GB Gold unit is sold as a standalone device. A Lightning cable and power adapter are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 256GB model or is a lower capacity enough?

The 256GB capacity stores large photo libraries, 4K video and many apps without relying on cloud offload. Choose a lower capacity only if you stream most media and keep few local files.

What does the 625 nits HBM brightness mean for daily use?

The 625 nits HBM peak brightness keeps the 5.8-inch OLED readable in direct sunlight and makes HDR10 and Dolby Vision content appear vivid with strong contrast.
