Silver iPhone XS Max for unlocked use

This unlocked iPhone XS Max in Silver gives buyers a 6.5 inch Super Retina OLED display with HDR10 and a 1242 x 2688 resolution. The Apple A12 Bionic hexa-core processor and 4GB RAM run iOS 12, upgradable to iOS 16.5. It suits anyone who wants a flagship Apple handset without carrier ties.

Dual 12 MP cameras and 64GB storage

The rear system pairs a 12 MP f/1.8 26mm wide lens with a 12 MP f/2.4 52mm telephoto lens for optical zoom and portrait depth. The front 7 MP f/2.2 32mm camera handles selfies and Face ID. Onboard 64GB flash storage holds apps and media with no expansion slot.

Lightning port and Bluetooth 5.0 setup

Activation begins once a nano-SIM or eSIM is inserted; the device is fully unlocked for any LTE carrier. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs accessories quickly while the Lightning connector handles charging and wired audio. Buyers who need more storage or a second physical SIM slot should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the 3174mAh lithium-ion battery need replacing under daily charging?

The built-in 3174mAh lithium-ion cell is not user-replaceable; Apple or an authorised service provider must fit a new battery when capacity drops below 80 per cent.

Which component hits its limit first during extended gaming or video recording sessions?

The A12 Bionic hexa-core processor will throttle clock speeds once its thermal envelope is reached, before the 4GB RAM or 64GB storage become bottlenecks.

How warm does the 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED display get and does the fan spin up during all-day use?

There is no internal fan; the aluminium frame dissipates heat passively, so the rear glass warms noticeably but stays within normal operating temperatures.
