3 in Aluminium IMC Sealing Conduit

This Appleton Electric EYF-300AL sealing conduit is rated for hazardous locations including Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups C and D. It prevents the passage of gases, vapours or flames between sections of conduit systems. The fitting suits both vertical and horizontal installations in industrial environments.

Replaces open or unsealed conduit joints

The fitting upgrades standard conduit runs where code requires a barrier against flame or vapour migration. The jump is worth it when an inspection demands a listed sealing fitting for 3 in trade size IMC or RMC systems in classified areas.

Check conduit trade size

Verify that the existing raceway is 3 in trade size IMC or RMC with female NPT threads at the connection points. Confirm the hazardous area classification matches the Class I, II and III ratings marked on the fitting.
