Threaded iron sealing conduit fitting rated for hazardous locations Class I, II and III
The Appleton Century Crofts EYSEF125 is a sealing fitting for IMC and RMC conduit systems rated for hazardous locations. It provides a 1 1/4 in trade-size connection with FNPT x MNPT threaded ends to isolate conduit sections in Class I, II and III environments. Installers use it where gases, vapours or flames must not pass between portions of a conduit run.
The iron body with powder-coated silver finish resists corrosion in demanding industrial settings. Threaded ends allow direct assembly to compatible conduit without additional adapters. The 5 1/2 in overall length fits standard conduit spacing while maintaining the hazardous-location seal integrity required by code.
The fitting carries hazardous-location ratings for Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups B, C, D, Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E, F, G and Class III. Buyers who need a different trade size, a non-threaded connection or a fitting not rated for these specific hazard groups cannot use this part.

Apply thread sealant to the 1-1/4 FNPT female end, hand-tighten onto the conduit, then use a strap wrench for the final turn to avoid cracking the iron body.
Inspect the powder-coated iron body annually for corrosion or coating damage; replace the fitting if the silver finish shows pitting or the threads no longer seal gases.
The iron construction and hazardous-location rating contain flames and vapours indefinitely; the fitting itself has no thermal cut-off, so the conduit system's cable insulation rating becomes the limiting factor.
